This Hey Love trade mark dates back to Casanova, She Use to be my Girl, Baby Hold onto Me, etc. Sean, Gerald and Marc were known for their smooth lyrics. Now Hey Love, is two words that are transcending time. Captivating an expression of caring for someone who holds a special place in your heart. On the real, I have always loved and supported the O’Jays, Levert, Gerald Levert’s solo career, and now Levert II. Didn’t hesitate to purchase the Levert II CD when it was available for purchase.
I missed the days when Levert first started touring with the O’Jays. I was at their first concert at Constitution Hall back in 1989, and it seems like yesterday.
Even though I may not be the winner of this contest, I will always cherish the musical memories of Levert, and look forward to the future musical R&B contributions from Marc and Blaq Rose. BRING BACK THE GOOD OLE R&B MUSIC!!! Thanks for the music!

Valentine’s day to me is an everyday addiction, similar to “Hey Love”, because of the love I share with a great man! I have been blessed by God with the love, respect and admiration of a man who shares my life unconditionally. I can relate that to the way the world and the Human race feel when listening to songs such as “Hey Love” from the unforgetable original Levert (G, Sean, Marc) to the now revitalized Levert 2. There are no words to describe, no singular point of reference that fill the gaps, the inadequacies and the differences in our lives the way your music does. For better or for worse, even when death we part. RIP Gerald & Sean Levert.
That means so much to be apart of people’s lives & fill gaps, to know our music past to present make you feel good on a bad day or assist you in expressing love to another in sensual grooves & sounds… thats real rshade53 much love
